Are you seriously considering Greyhound adoption? This is a wonderful place to start…by ooh’ing and ahhh’ing over these magnificent animals. Please keep in mind that the Adoption Photo Gallery is a partial list of the available Greyhounds looking for their comfy couch. Their profiles consist of preliminary information and can change after they are in foster care. Our Placement Coordinator has the most up-to-date information and has the responsibility of matching Greyhounds to a family.
Please direct all questions about our adoption procedure to our Placement Coordinator: adoption@firstgreys.org
The Greyhounds we rescue and adopt out are, generally, from 2 to 6 years old. We make every effort to match a Greyhound to your particular family and lifestyle and choices as they pertain to age, gender, and weight.
Adoption Fee
Our adoption fee is $285. The adoption fee includes spay or neuter, rabies and DHLPP immunizations, dental cleaning, heartworm test and one month of heartworm preventative, fecal exam and de-worming, transportation, and collar/leash set.
