First State Greyhound Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of ex-racing Greyhound dogs. This includes rescuing from situations that require greyhound rehoming. If your aware of a situation please contact us and we can keep that situation confidential.  

Weplace Greyhounds in homes around the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.

In the United States, more than 7,000 Greyhounds lose their lives each year because they are no longer fast enough to compete in dog racing, while others sustain racing-related injuries. Some of these dogs find homes through various adoption groups, but all too many are killed.
